Nagano is the land of soba noodles, so why not learn to make them yourself while your are here? Takagi, a long-standing soba noodle restaurant and souvenir shop offers soba noodle-making workshops where you can learn how to make soba completely from scratch!
The workshops are taught by Takagi’s very own soba master. Not only do you get to do each and every step of the process yourself, you also get to use authentic soba-making tools. The best part is that you can take the soba you make home with you to cook or choose to eat them right there in Takagi’s restaurant.
To book your lesson at Takagi, call them or just talk someone in the shop. It’s safer to book a few days in advance, but it might be worth a try to ask directly at the shop if you didn’t have time to make a reservation.
