The season of autumn colored leaves has begun in Matsumoto.
On October 6, I climbed up Karasawa, which is famous for being one of the most beautiful spots to see colored leaves in Japan. It is about a 6-hour trek from Kamikochi.
In downtown Matsumoto city, autumn colored leaves can be seen in places like Matsumoto Castle and Agatanomori Park from around October 20 until early November.
