Last weekend, my family and my friend’s family went to Norikura Highlands to stay at an onsen hotel and enjoy skiing. We ate a buffet-style dinner and breakfast. There were fifty different seasonal dishes, many featuring apples and soba.
We enjoyed looking at the moon and snowy landscape from the outside bath of the onsen.
December 13th was opening day at Norikura Onsen Ski Resort this year. Four of nine lifts were in operation and 6 of 23 course were open. Lift tickets were 2000 yen, half of the normal price and elementary school kids are free until December 19th.
Come to Norikura and Nagawa onsen and ski resorts in Matsumoto!
