松本市内に現存する数少ない武家住宅のひとつで、松本藩が藩士の住まいとして所有していた官舎です。
2009年に幕末から明治初期の姿に復元修理され、博物館として生まれ変わりました。
当時の武士の暮らしを伝えています。
