由總監督・指揮 「小澤征爾」所領導的古典音樂祭，是為了記念已故的齋藤秀雄教授，小澤招集了齋藤教授在世界各地的弟子們，於每年８月中旬至９月中旬舉辦演奏會，世界級的演奏受到各方的注目。
於1992年在松本誕生的齊藤紀念音樂祭，2015年正式更名。
